Fun With Fleece...

This is my fleece blanket journal of all of the blankets and or fleece projects that I make. My inspiration for the blankets that I make was from my son and his stay during the NICU. Once I can afford to, I plan to make these blankets for the families of babies in the NICU unit here in my town and donate them. I know that many moms find comfort in the hand made items donated to the families of the NICU. They get to bring these items home once they leave the NICU and that one special blanket can mean the world to a family and give positive thoughts and memories once their baby is home. Hopefully with the sale of these, I can make many more blankets for the hospital's NICU unit and for the Ronald McDonald House. This journal was just created, and I am working on getting it up and running and plan to get pictures of the blankets that I have made posted up here. I have made quite a few of these blankets for my son and for some of my friends babies. I have found that these are wonderful blankets to cover over strollers. I don't leave the house during the winter without placing one over my son's stroller.
